In November, in the real depth of COVID restrictions, they were 100% full steam ahead - I had a lengthy telephone interview as pre-qualification, and was told the trial would commence in January and I would be contacted early in the New Year to undertake the medicals and x-rays etc.
Then nothing. At the end of January, after I contacted them again, they said all was on track and I would be contacted; in "a couple of weeks"!!!
Now, after all this time, (8-weeks) nothing, and we discover it has completely stalled, apparently due to COVID, just as we (WA) are emerging from the worst of the pandemic.
It stinks badly of BS to me, I seriously doubt COVID is a legitimate reason to postpone.
Trouble also is that there seem to be very few doctors aware of PPS or the trial here in WA.
It just seems to be being run like Fawlty Towers, and the communications are just non-existent.
Wish I could sound more positive, but this really is very disappointing.
