Understood, so might be in our best interest to shake off any JDA when/if that that chip materialises, Not sure if that can be done, you would think that any JDA would be wrapped in a way that suits WD/HGST, so that 4DS doesn't run off with the prize. Ok now i'm going to have to look into our JDA to see what is in there if thats information we do have or not. JDA does wrap up soon if not renewed by both parties. So WD has to make an offer if interested or take the licensing road at minimum or lose the deal before renewal date. Well if we get that hot little Mega chip hope we can shake off that JDA, doesn't sound like WD can afford an outright purchase anyway. Thank you Kmtw.
