i was wandering around zinc stocks to see how they are travelling versus "my one" and came across this post which was interesting on the hedging. some comments (take it or leave it).

1) dont know why a company would hedgenin this environment to begin with, and i dont just mean the last 6 months.
2) as the POZ has been going ballistic in the last 6 months, you would appreciate any hedged company to habe anhigh cost of hedging. its the natural offset of your price increase. ie the badnia mot as bad and the good is not as good...thats just hedging 101 for ya
3) NCZ still very much over rated and they seem to takenout fiture hedges with nomproduction linkage.....

just my 2c worth....go zinc!!!
