Slight off topic but still on CBD. My son has had a severe headache non stop for 2 years, he's 17 doing final year of school. He maybe goes 2 days a week to school over that time. We have been to a neurologist, a pain specialist and 8 types drugs to no success. Finally yesterday went to a local GP who specialises in CBD. Nice guy and was very clear he won't use any THC component for a kid under 20 due to developmental effects. Agreed totally. Unfortunately that means you need the most purified of CBD oils. $250 a bottle and that lasts about 25 days depending on dose. If it doesn't work then that's it but I'm fortunate to be able to afford that but for some.....
I'll let you know if it has any effect, even if it makes him happier and less withdrawn. Bring on more studies so that we can get TGA approval and lower these costs. Funny thought, if it does work, then perhaps my investment in CBD might fund my expenses in CBD. Funny world! Just an aside, the doctor has 600 or so patients and he reckons over 500 have fantastic results. Unfortunately it's with the THC combined has the best effects.
