Maybe untick Bougainville from that, asked Frank about it a few weeks ago. Something similar but less risky would be nice.
Hi ....,
Thanks for the email. We are not likely to invest in uranium projects. It is very specialized and political. We do have friends in the Chinese uranium and nuclear sectors. PNG is not a region that is high on our agenda. It is very difficult and dangerous to deal there.
We are interested in quality and revenue producing or near production assets in Australia and certain overseas countries where we can leverage off our Chinese connections. We will look at a large range of commodities. We want to use the A$10m and other partnerships we have to secure the next deal. This has always been the third pillar of Peters strategy from day 1.
We are still busy despite the wet. Our geologist and a consultant are right now in WA finishing the geological mapping for copper flats. This will help us better target our EM surveys and drilling next year. We are talking to contractors for quotes for EM surveys and drill. We are reviewing the new gold project in NSW. It is very dry in Laos. We are talking to NFC re the preparation for the tender process which will be critical to the feasibility study. We are looking at new projects. For the remaining days of 2009, we will finish off the Rights Issue which is very important to us. we want to go into the new year strong and ready to deliver.
Thank you for your question and feel free to call me if you have further questions.
Kind regards,
Frank Zhu, CFA
