theoretically the price on the stockmarket should be worth the actual value
ie there should be a 1:1 relationship between the two

sometimes their isnt.
that's what you have to watch out for.
(sometimes price doesn't equal value)

the company could be worth zero eg cvi

but then again the market could have got it completely wrong and the company is actually worth 10 times the price
