There is one thing I can think of and that's this. We know they have 30 or so million that they have to cover.
To do that they were having a last desperate attempt (when the SP went up over 40c) to push the SP down to 30C or below so they can cover; but problem for them is that their sell orders got taken out by long investors as soon as they put out their sell orders.
