My simple research shows that (a few individuals also have shared the link in this discussion), vanadium is used for following area:

1) "About 85% of metal vanadium is added in the form of iron vanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloys in steel production to improve the strength, toughness, ductility, and heat resistance of steel." - copied
2) "8-10% of metal vanadium is used in the form of titanium-aluminum-vanadium alloys for aircraft engines, aerospace cabin frameworks, missiles, steam turbine blades, rocket engine shells, etc - copied
3) "vanadium is mainly used as a catalyst for the manufacture of sulfuric acid and vulcanized rubber. It is also used to suppress the production of nitrous oxide in power plants." - - copied
4) "vanadium batteries have obvious advantages such as high power, large capacity, high efficiency, long life, fast response, instantaneous charging, high safety, and low cost." -copied

Because of diverse usability especially in the aronoitc field (Australia's need to increase high tech defense equipment), vanadium is a highly sort after product; therefore, the federal government just has announced $49 mil grants to AVL on the 29th of March so that we have enough raw materials domestically to supply to the world. The grant is published on the company website on the 29th of March.

PV magazine Australia published a story and some of the key points below which write "Western Australian vanadium explorer Technology Metals Australia and Japanese vanadium redox flow battery producer LE System have decided to tighten their relationship with an expanded Memorandum of Understanding that could see the construction of Australia’s first fully integrated vanadium electrolyte plant proximate to renewable energy hubs and major Australian population centers." -Copied

Therefore big elephant in the room- so many shares have been traded in the last few days. In my view only- ride the train before it leaves for the US defense team.
