Hi (w1londongroup)
I would not be surprised to see BHP agree to rail deal with BRM to stop the Chinese getting a hold of a large amount of iron ore so close to their tenements.
I would not be surprised to see BHP also look to take an interest in BRM's other tenements as well.
BRM have tenements that could be serviced by FMG and RIO rail in the West Pilbara and a joint venture with FRS and AGO around Newman with rail through CRM,FMG or a Hancock Prospecting/Asian joint venture.
If BHP think BRM have some good tenements in these other areas they would not want to take for granted the joint venture with RIO going ahead,so would need to cover them selves to stop others getting a foot hold first.
Taking UMC out for a give away price would be a good example.
BRM would not sell out like UMC.
Regards
Westcott.
