seen it before i think. but so far outside the money and timing super close to exercise price - above at the time of the underwriting. in this case no benefit, whilst well out of the money, they would just buy on market. also Race doesn't need the cash so they wont be the ones pursing this. cant see this as an effective strategy in this instance.

think the SPP was to guarantee funding on the assumption oppies would be out of the money. these also sweetened the deal for shareholders on the raise / dilution. so SPP and oppies cancelling out the effect of dilution at the big end and small end.
