This has to be one of the wildest theories yet. If this is even true (which I absolutely doubt) then it signals extremely bad faith by management who raised over $50M from investors for the express purpose of launching BNPL. Nobody would want to trust a management team who operated like that.
And anyway, if the submission had to be in by June 2021 then the September IDSB acquisition is out of whack on the timeline.
