This is only my opinion and what I would do not any sort of financial advice.

I would split up my holdings and use a small bank roll to speculate heavily on stocks. So I would use 10-20k and play with that money and only do this if you are ok with losing it all.

I personally don't like ETFs but if your new then probably best to stay there.

I like to try and make 5-10% on my play money on every trade. Once the 10-20k becomes 50-100 it's easier to make money so I reduce the percentage to 3-5%.

keep in mind Capital gains tax when you enter and exit a trade.
