when have they ever had to explain themselves? the royal commission came and went and super fund performance was barely mentioned. You are kidding yourself if you think there is going to be a retail backlash against the super funds starting from 1 July this year.

I find it a little strange how pre-occupied the WPL threads are with ESG and woke policies. If we really believed in the financial strength of WPL, then what does it matter what other investors think. E.g. you could just as well moan about the millions/billions invested in crypto instead of a surer bet like WPL.

Yes. I agree it is frustrating that WPL is below pre-covid highs in this oil super-cycle, but what we lose in SP we gain in dividend yield, so it shouldn't matter. (I mean...we should be able to trust NPV mathematics and expect to receive our full share of WPL profitability in due course...)
