As a manager in previous positions of many many years I can say that I have set time frames for myself to achieve that have not always been met.

It is important to set time frames because that is how we measure an individuals performance.

If anything all that is needed is for the management to look at placing more realistic time frames which might include some leeway for leverage.

If posters are going to continually focus on such petty little things then it is the poster that requires a look at what they themselves are doing IMO.

At the end of the day a slight delay doesn't change the size of the resource or the potential of the company.
