Actually, the JV for Thor, also includes Odin
which is worth mentioning in more detail here in the CHN threads, because of the little-known, and rarely mentioned Tin, Tantalum, Niobium and... drumroll... 'substantial' Lithium.

Chalice is only there for the Nickel, Copper, Cobolt, Gold and PGE's akin to Julimar, obviously...
but I also find it quite intriguing to know:

In 2016, the original maps of Thor, and neighbouring Odin (seemingly before they were named after Gods), showed two strong historical EM results as shown below...

* the smallest at Thor seems to be roughly adjacent to where we've all seen the Julimar-lookalike snake to be.

* the biggest at Odin, seems to be at least 1k north of the various smaller PGE hotspots that Chalice has flagged in Odin's SE corner.

And... the bigger Odin target is:
* roughly 1.9km x 150m wide...
* barely 30kms from the famous Greenbushes...
* with a roughly similar sized EM footprint as Liontown's first MRE for Kathleen Valley, if memeroy serves?...
but with depth unclear yet, obviously, without drilling (unless I've missed an announcement somewhere).

It's also interesting to note:

a) In 2016, as Tin Specialists, Venture Minerals had been following their theory of using the Tin, Tantalum and Niobium from Thor and Odin soil sampling etc to help target fresh new undiscovered deposits of Lithium.


b) By 2017, they confirmed their "substantial" Lithium discovery at Odin

Then...

c) In 2020, Venture Minerals also drilled a few holes in the south end of Thor, where they found nickel, copper etc... at roughly the same time that Chalice were using their new IP and a different theory, (using Chromium to target more precisely).

We know Chalice is only there for the resources akin to Julimar.

Which potentially leaves VMS holders with a SECOND billion dollar Teir 1 Lithium-Tin-Tantalum-Niobium Project nearby, on the same tenements.

And yet nobody, anywhere, seems to be mentioning it. Not even in the VMS threads over the past 2 years.

Very wise that neither company would make a big deal of it either, I dare say. The asx market is already notoriously incapable of valuing any of Chalice's other private land tenements, (aside from Gonneville) into the share price. And nothing yet from inside the state forest.

The market is also highly skeptical of finding a twin unicorn for Julimar anywhere at all...

So to potentially find a twin in the same tenements as an already announced 'substantial' Lithium discovery, would probably smash the scale for believability at this early stage, LOL

Fun to speculate either way, though, right?
