Got me puzzled too, that sounded a bit left-field.

However in the same vein, why not just dump phosphate into the sea to stimulate algae growth, which would lock up more CO2 which would then sink to the sea floor... hang on, even better why not do that off Namibia over the Sandpiper deposit? Then the phosphate could be retrieved off the sea floor and used over and over again, no need to even bring it to shore, just mine it, dump it into the sea and claim those lovely carbon credits in the process, then rinse and repeat.... could be a cunning stunt, Mr Hunt.
