Right! What I'm finding is many mature women I work with have come back into the workforce after raising 1-2-3-4-X kids, not working for a large part of that time, not progressing a career and certainly not earning superannuation for 10-20 years. So, its not exactly a level playing field between men and women.
What I'm teaching my young daughter is Number One Priority is to become financially independent before risking getting into a relationship that will hold her back financially and making her dependent on somebody else.
