Personally I find it hard to understand why AK took a flight to Africa just to be told sorry mate you were not successful in any bids, I'm sure he would be the first to say on the phone just tell me straight do we have a chance or not! if the answer was no why would he bother jumping on a flight?
Maybe there was more to it and he had to be there in person for further negotiations/talks /other assets of interest etc ?
Just my take on it, lets see what materialises .... I'm still hopeful !
