Amazon owns 20% of Rivian,
Vertical integration is the Tesla business model & the noise coming from that direction will not be without merit.
Although an MOU, there are two manufactirers above with plenty of reason to secure long term Lithium supply else risk their plans to capitalize on EV roll out due to raw material cost.
