It seems that some people might be confused between ISR and ISL.
.I have stated many times that Australians are struggling to understand the concept.
Personally I really dont think ALL Aussies are thick.
Maybe I'm just a very clever Kiwi but as far as I can determine ISL in Oz, ISR in USA are one and the same.
Perhaps either you or Mr ISL/ISR expert can explain the difference.
Fact is solution mining is not new:
In-situ leaching of copper was done by the Chinese by 977 AD.
Solution mining using boric acid for metals and minerals was quite extensively used by Italians early 1800s
Gold, copper,silica, zinc,rubidium, lithium, manganese, silver, gold, palladium, platinum extraction from re-injected geothermal brine has been carried out for hundreds of years.
I worked on gold extraction from hydro vents Wairakei NZ 1970s
