FORTESCUE Metals Group and its chief executive Andrew Forrest have been cleared of any wrongdoing in a case brought by the corporate regulator.
This afternoon Federal Court judge John Gilmour dismissed the case brought by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.
ASIC will also have to pay the legal costs incurred by Mr Forrest and Fortescue, Justice Gilmour said.
These costs are likely to be several million dollars.
