now they just need at some point to demonstrate that revenues can outstrip cost growth in a meaningful way.

they are not running a not for profit the last time I checked, so 12 months on from “break even” last year, they are still aiming for “break even” on a bigger revenue and cost base, and having sold a property and in doing so increased their ongoing operating costs by now needing to pay additional ongoing rent.

it’s not hard to see why the shorts are not worried at the moment, but I am waiting to see the news that will cause the shorts to unwind… that hasn’t come forth yet, but we got a glimpse of what kind of news would trigger a short squeeze… sales growing by triple digits % year on year.

the latest quarter results were good, but not pointing toward anything near triple digit growth year on year.

anything short of that, and the shorts may just keep betting that PNV will take a while longer to reach that point. And in the meantime, the pressure will continue to pile on the share price unless some other news comes along to warrant the shorts to begin unwinding. IMO of course.
