Indeed. I'm really curious to see how it plays out. Have management really decided after all this time they can't take it any further, or are they going along with recommending the deal because the terms left them no choice but to do so? I don't imagine Tony would have liked the idea of being sued by some big suit from Pfizer had he rejected the deal and then leaked news to the financial press. Perhaps the angle here is simply to hope that the news spreads far and wide (which it has, thanks to the bidder's name) and therefore attract an unsolicited bid from another player (since they're not allowed to shop it round). Who knows, but it sure is curious. It's not every day that a beaten-down retail stock like this catches the attention of a big gun! Cheers and good luck to you.
