Here is a quick update on where we stand:
- 139 holdings have signaled their intention to vote no.
- Those holdings amount to 85,750,000 shares.
So (assuming everybody on the list votes no, and nobody who is not on the list votes no) to pass the yes vote there must be:
- At least 139 holdings voting yes, AND
- Those holdings must amount to at least 257,250,000 shares.
To compare, at the last AGM the highest number of shares voted was 278,038,424 in response to the re-election of Brian Leedman as director. Of those, 270,403,416 voted in favour of Mr Leedman. A head count was not taken at the AGM so we have nothing to compare against with regard to the head count.
So the list we currently have places us within sight of securing the no vote.
Each holder will be able to vote online through the Automic website after the meeting has been announced. The relevant part of the website looks like this:
Proxy forms will also me mailed and/or emailed according to your communication preferences.
