Germany and just setup all those east European countries as buffer states.
It was defensive move not imperialist.

So when Hungary and Czechoslovakia tried to leave and become independant countries again Russian tabks rolled in .
Russian was a compulsary second language in schools and there was a heeluva lot of indoctrination .
THIS WAS A RUSSIAN EMPIRE !
You can't deny history and their are posters here who've lived though that Russian subjugation .
