And expensive. I drive a 21 year old car still going relatively well - wonder if I change over to an electric vehicle whether the batteries will have such longevity - and will any home batteries be likewise.
Additionally, there are plenty of used vehicles on the market with various prices to suit different needs. If all are phased out and since there is no used electric car market of any notable size for choice - those wanting to drive will have to dig deep or else downsize to an electric bicycle.
Any which way one looks at it, converting to the all electric everything costs huge amount of money to the consumer - but big bucks generated to those in business of the electric revolution. Winners and losers - then of course will all the effort actually solve the issue of 'climate' - skepticism warranted - though one thing it will do, is to generate huge amounts of waste with everything taken into account. AIMHO
