I had a business supplying IT consultants to the public service for 30 years under both libs and labor. Trends come and go, but generally the more specialised the consultant the less affected they are. They might be able to hire testers as public servants, but what highly in demand security specialist is going to join? Companies like Tesserent will do just fine.
