I dont mind emp but to brutally honest, they didn't deserve to get the lease. Had they got a joint venture parter or committed to a well in there own right that would have been a big tick to getting a new lease. They have not got any new leases in a long time , tdo has ticked boxes and it got a new leases. And has had multiple joint ventures. The only talk of emp getting this lease i read from you. Ive never seen any official company documents that said they have actually applied for new leases.
What if emp cant get a jv?will they go it alone or risk loosing the lease? im a big believer in use it or loose it and i am critical of stocks i own.
And all the oil stocks i own do have work to do or risk dropping a lease. The minnows with no production struggle a lot more to meet commitments.
