EMP did allude to going for another block, possibly at an agm, I don't quite remember, but it was public.... The block was held by BAS and I understand it made more sense to apply for it after it had been surrendered, thereby getting a new work program.... I have no issue with them not getting it, given COE must have been bidding. It would be proper for NOPTA to allocate it to them, rather than a junior with an already full program....NOPTA do assess applications on their ability to fund exploration.
Again, this uptick in activity by COE is extremely positive and is probably as important as the recent resource upgrade, however, will the market understand that?
It has certainly revived my interest here as it opens up new speculation on corporate manoeuvres in the near future....obviously COE have a keen interest in the geology, and possibly growth plans
