I can understand why technical traders try to produce charts and indicate a forward price scenario.
However, I do question the relevance of charts to a totally news-driven stock, simply because charts merely reflect what has happened in the past. Unless, of course, the chartists have found a way to predict good or bad news from the company?
Good news will take the chart out of any preconceived parameters, as will bad news.
Waste of of time as a tool for predicting future share prices, IMO, because there are simply too many unknowns.
Charts are invaluable for looking at established companies with established businesses. When it comes to explorers/developers they are pretty worthless as far as I am concerned.
