With this anouncment I would expect additional investors could get interest.
Does Musk know about AVZ? He's already building cars and the batteries but has not the whole recource chain in his hands, right? He alwais thinks big and the recource AVZ has is huge. In comparison of some crazy ideas of him this would be a no brainer. Just regarding the stock value Tesla got right now and in which meaning a good recource like AVZ could grow into longterm in that context.
