And that there will escalate this conflict to a completely new level. Putin will flatten Kiev this time round from far away. Putin is protecting the national interest of Russia (his words), the same the USA was protecting its national interest when invaded Afghanistan (to capture one person and his friends). The difference in this two scenarios is that one conflict is playing out between neighbouring countries, and in the case of the USA it was 11000 km away national interest (wtf?). The whole western world hailed Americans as heroes for destroying a sovereign country in order to protect its national interest. The whole western world is united in destroying a country which is protecting its national interest.
Putin is aggressor, butcher, assassin, nazi etc. for protecting the national interest of Russia, but Bush and Obama would be applauded by anti - Russian posters on this forum (way too many of those) as heroes for protecting the national interest of the US.
One sided view can't provide a platform for a genuine and open discussion. Both, Russia and USA are guilty of the exact same crime. No difference.
