worthy, I'm trying to work out why would Tibotec be so so interested in Avx's HIV integrase inhibitor program and thus continue on with the exclusivity option or even better agree to license. The extension is coming to an end soon.
I raised the issue of the quad pill which Gilead and Tibotec have been developing to see whether Avx's integrase inhibitors may be better than Tibotec's elvitegravir(sorry if spelt incorrectly). Of course, this may be too difficult for anyone on HC to answer, my apologies!
As I understand it, there is no cure yet for HIV but, there are plenty of pills out there. To survive, Avx must maintain a competitive edge over rivals. Are its products better in the sense that they can be marketed?
