Nice try, but no cigar. During the 10 years Russia invaded Afghanistan, 1 million civilians died. By comparison there were 'only' approximately 6 thousand civilian casualties during the 20 years the US were active there. The US wouldn't have been involved in Afghanistan if they didn't give support and refuge to Al Qaeda, which effectively made them a target for retaliation by the US for the 9/11 attacks as part of the war on terror. The US were hunting Bin Laden in earnest until they finally killed him, so they obviously didn't know where he was and therefore couldn't have killed him anytime or anywhere they wanted as you suggest. Just another BS conspiracy theory.
