Pfizer could sweeten this deal for not much extra. Say they decided to up the offer for RAP to 15 cents plus 1 Pfizer share for every 1,500 RAP shares held? I Pfizer share worth AUD $72 or thereabouts means another 4.8 cents per share on the offer.
Now they would be offering 19.8 cents (call it 20 cents) per share for RAP.
Still way too low but the deal would now be offering RAP SH to be part of Pfizer the new daddy company overseeing the RAP tech we have all been supporting and cheering for over all these years.
It is almost thinkable enough RAP SH would vote yes IF Pfizer was to come up a tad more to 18 cents per RAP share and 1 Pfizer share for every 1,000 RAP shares held.
They would just about steal the RAP business lock stock and barrel for a total of AUD 25 cents a share incl cash and Pfizer shares.
That is what I would be thinking if I was in the Pfizer team. Its chess so they would try to divide the board in two...they still get to steal RAP for a measly AUD $155 million and some Pfizer shares (which they were probably going to buy back anyway).
At least then they will have a genuine "feel" for the percentage in sentiment change as far as the vote goes. IMHO DYOR
How many would jump ship and refrain from voting NO then? Not me...what about others?

@pilko3, I can’t fathom why you would throw out a hypothetical lot of nonsense to gather information for Pfizer?

Most on here have said it’s “not for sale!”
