I am one of those "old" investors with far too many LYC shares who posts rarely these days. It's been a long, often joyful but more often simply frustrating ride. My life partner and I have been planning a trip across the Nullabor to Perth and including Kalgoorlie. Covid put a stop to that plan in 2020. However, the WA border is again open and now with the Lynas plant ramping up there is actually something to see. To wait any longer will probably result in never doing this trip. So, in anticipation, I wrote to Daniel Havas,Vice President Strategy & Investor Relations([email protected])to ask if I could have a contact name and phone no., as we wish to get as close to the plant as possible and in case of any confrontations with a worker I would then have a contact person. I mentioned that no special treatment is required, I simply wish to take a few good pics to take home. The email was via LYC website. I received no answer, so I then emailed Lauren Stutchbury ([email protected]) and made the same request. Again, no answer. Amanda knows me, but I would not trouble her with this matter. We have decided to wing it and hope for the best.
