no doubt everyone would like to know of the exact performance of the Komatsu.
Given that it is being used in trial conditions and on favourable terms, it is unlikely that they would give away the exact details unless they fully met expectations.
Suffice to say that the company has already said that the rate of progress currently does not meet the requirements for the decline progress and possibly for ongoing mining.
The company has also put in place alternative( traditional) methods .
Komatsu will doubtless want to tweak the performance to meet requirements and probably has the opportunity to achieve this ( if able) whilst creating the ventilation shaft .
Meanwhile I don't think it is anything to worry about as they will clearly not let it hamper progress where avoidable.
