All the legislation that exists today that prevents the development of new oil and gas fields and coal mines... who lobbied for all that?
A. The fossil fuel industry?

B. Green movements/climate change activists/anti-fossil fuel NGOs
[Case in point, I'm a recent shareholder in New Hope Coal, which has been trying for a decade to get its New Aclamnd mine developed. The application has been stonewalled at every turn. I supposed that's New Hope management bribing key people within various Queensland government agencies to not give approval for the project so that coal prices can remain at super-normal record levels.]
