Hey Spid the new battery expert , the new Tesla 4680 battery pack has a range of about 600K on a good day, testing on 1000 cycles with a warranty 0f 10 years ,

This new battery tech has a range from 2,600 k to 5000 k with 70% silicon , do the maths on 400 cycles , a cycle is from fully charged to dead flat every time , in real life you may go close with a 600 k range battery pack but not 2600k to 5000 k , you have plenty of reserve ,the 70 % to 100% silicon anode has 10 times more energy retention and is 8.5 times cheaper than graphite , the Silicon anode is the big breakthrough future for battery material , graphite anode material will diminish in 5 years for its high cost and especially when battery fire safety standards are imposed, graphite anode LFP batteries go up like a roman candle in a thermal runaway they tell me, water can't extinguish the flame , it has to be staved of oxygen , that's why a ship load of electric Porsches went down.
