My point has always been that when a relationship breaks down, both parties need to acknowledge that they have allowed this to happen. Personally I have never met the perfect human. Have you? Apologies, the guy with the most thumbs up on this thread is apparently. :)

Secondly, I agree with you that people enter relationships in a committed and optimistic manner. However sometimes relationships break down and in cases where infidelity occurs the offending partner needs to accept responsibility for their actions.

I will not post any more details on my sister in law's relationship breakdown, because she would be offended.
