Yeah and there is also the Large Scale Generation Certificates that they have locked into future contracts for better value. These are coming up as a loss on the balance sheet right now but mean extra income in 2024+.
The reduction in profits from retail sales has come down to a tightening in profits to be made right now on the WA wholesale market. This is why the transition from a retailer to a gentailer is so important. Right now the good or bad times depends on the market. They have talked before about installing batteries on customers sites to reduce this variability but getting up their own generation assets is the real game changer.
At the end of the day this company is still in a fantastic position going forward. Its an absolute bargain right now IMO. It blows my mind that it can trade at such a low market cap when pie in the sky, and no money in the bank hydrogen companies like ECT have a higher market cap.
