Hi Frantic You should have changed from a leftie when you reached twenty one Most do Misplaced idealism just like every "ism" sets you up for being used Whether it's politics, religous or any sort of "belief" you are a "trained puppet" And if you're radicalised enough you'll plant a bomb or stuff election boxes believing "it's all for the cause"
An old friend who is a staunch communist Been staunch left wing labor for years and a party member Left ALP to join his other comrades in the Green party Claims the left wing leadership is far more in alignment with his radical ideals And he believes the Greens are the party of the future and they have a padding of passionate middle class voters which give it respectability in the electorate
He thinks nothing of the manipulation of those middle class voters they use to get Greens elected But realy it is never too late to get yourself a new perspective
