The $50 has been widely reported and known about here in WA for a long time.It is WA that supplies the Island
The locals on the Island have been kicking up a stink because this $50 spending money has driven up commodity prices beyond some of their reach. Just recently they had to impose a ban on them buying IPods as they would club their/our $50 together and buy one in turn.
Perhaps you may need to read or tune in to WA more often.
As for the rest of my comment,which part offends you, free gas,power, education or jobs ?
No source other than a modicom of common sense of what happens when any apparenet refugee arrives, unless they bring their own money tree.
