Talking solely about refugees yes you have a point, but talking about the entire immigrant(not Anglo/Saxon) population then there is a vast voter base. Ask Penny Wong !!!! Who do you think the new Chinese/Indians/Africans vote for ... certainly NOT the Libs .. ...and it's 3 years between elections, so it will only take an election or two for it to come into play.. ...a 100,000 plus new Labour voters a year maybe... and thats why the next republic vote will get through... new Australians from India/China can't wait to get rid of our Queen !!
