Calculate the cost of one person's claim on the NDIS and then multiply that by 1,000s...10s of 1000s

And for the most part, the costs are so high because we must, of course, respect his right to some sort of self-determination and independence and placing him in an infinitely more cost-effective facility would be ...well, ...unacceptable to that vision of how he should get to live his life.

Are you implying we institutionalise people with disability again?

I can guarantee we could make cuts and more financially efficient decisions before impeding someones right to a life of their choosing.
