You can see where this war is headed. It will drag on for many months, if not years. A disfunctional society such as Russia will have little or no defence against sabotage by Ukranian supporters. It has a massive porous border and all sorts of explosives and missiles will eventually infiltrate into the hands of those opposed to Putin. May even result in a low grade civil war. Russia is stuffed. Economic chaos and targeted attacked on vulnerable machinery of the Putin dictatorship will escalate to the point of the collapse of Russian government.
