What NATO military buildup? You are telling porkies.

Maybe Ukraine / NATO / good and decent democratic nations were supremely concerned by Russias invasion of Ukraine in 2014. If they were not, they should have been. You are ringing alarm bells over a ‘military buildup’ that never happened, but seem sublimely unconcerned about the actual invasions and wars that Russia metes out to its smaller neighbours. It really is quite a bizarre and absurd attitude you are adopting.

But taking your stance to its logical conclusion, you seem to be saying that Australia would be well advised to invade and annex all or part of the Solomon Islands, as that is what all larger nations should do whenever they feel (or claim to feel) threatened in some way. We can call this approach the ‘Putin Doctrine’.
