Just a reminder to fellow shareholders before we turn on each other regarding American politics and await news flow to reverse the recent share price weakness.

It has been over 3 months since I posted on the mystery behind the lung cancer preclinical trial. There has still been no formal news flow or commentary by RACE on this trial that I have seen despite Dr T’s comments suggesting something is cooking behind the scenes.

One near term catalyst that might bring this trial to the fore is the upcoming melanoma in-vivo preclinical results, which combine Zantrene with anti PD1 drugs. As per the slides in the screen shot, the lung cancer preclinical is also pairing Zantrene with anti PD1 drugs and I recall Dr T saying in a previous post that if the drug synergy works for one cancer indication(ie Melanoma), then it is highly likely it will work for other cancer types (ie Lung Cancer).

Therefore, given the quarterly yesterday stated that RACE is securing patents based on the results of the melanoma preclinical and they cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, it is logical you only go down this path if there is potentially significant commercial value. We could extrapolate that the potential synergies we are seeing between Zantrene & anti PD1 drugs in Melanoma could have clinical and commercial relevance for Lung Cancer in the near future too.

For what it is worth, my money is still on RACE collaborating with the City of Hope on Lung Cancer & news on this might coincide with progress on their US IND application!
