Do you like repeating and demonstrating your ignorance ?

Ever heard of the Ottoman Empire ? WW1 ?

'Turkey' didn't even exist in 1915.

Here's a quick brief lesson for you to help.

The Gallipoli campaign[a] was a military campaign in the First World War that took place on the Gallipoli peninsula (Gelibolu in modern Turkey), from 17 February 1915 to 9 January 1916. The Entente powers, Britain, France and Russia, sought to weaken the Ottoman Empire, one of the Central Powers, by taking control of the Turkish straits. This would expose the Ottoman capital at Constantinople to bombardment by Allied battleships and cut it off from the Asian part of the empire.

Funny that...can't see 'Australia' or 'New Zealand' there despite each country providing a relatively minor number of troops to the Entente Powers so your claim is actually completely false ie 'Australia' or 'New Zealand' did not 'invade' a peaceful sovereign country 'Turkey' .

Do some basic homework before you highlight your ignorance again.

And oh look !! Russia was part of the Entente Powers and the campaign was actually in response to Russian requests to relieve pressure on the Russians on the Caucasus front !!

Amazing what you can learn isn't it.

Maybe you'll view upcoming ANZAC Day in a different light now ?
