Yep, only a matter of time.

On another point, an oft-used criticism of new home buyers or builders today, usually goes along the lines of

"My first house was a two bedroom fibro, outhouse, no insulation etc etc"

The fact is, with government regulation, you cannot just build a cheap crappy house without all the mandatory stuff, plus many estates have covenants on building standards.

It's totally different now to what is was, and therefore lots more expensive.
